Should I sell my desktop and get a laptop?

It depend on your needs really. If you need the portability then I definitely upgrade. If you have no need for portability then I would stay with a desktop. Most laptops tend to be fairly underpowered. Also, back lit screens drain power. The switchable graphics card is the opposite. If you are doing normal computing you can use the slower one to save battery and switch over to the more powerful one when you want to do some gaming. All in all, I wouldn't get it unless you need the portability.
