The HD audio blaster software upgrade offered by Dell on notebooks. Hype or worth the 30$?

I am going through the customization process on the DELL 1405/640M and the audio option is for standard speakers or for $30 more there is a HD audio blaster software upgrade. Is this at all worth it if I dont intend to game on this platform? I mean is the speaker difference really that much inside a hotel room? THanks!
