Home schooling vs Accredited Home schooling?

Most colleges in the US, including every Ivy league university, accepts homeschoolers who homeschool without being enrolled in an accredited private school. In fact the first homeschooler accepted into Harvard was an unschooler, and since then 2 of his siblings have also attended Harvard.
