Which of these laptops is the best for its price?

I would say the Toshiba. The upgradability to 8Gb RAM is a definite plus. Apart from that, the base memory you get is 3Gb, which is a good start. System spec between most of the other features is about the same. I've had a Toshiba laptop before and found it to be pretty reliable.
