I'm sure she and you are really sad about your mom and it's hard for both of you, but you need to make her understand that being rude to you and backtalking everything you say is not acceptable. What would your mom have done? You should sit her down and explain that you love her and you miss your mom a lot but it's not ok for her to be so disrespectful. Your husband should tell her too since she seems to listen to him more. Tell her if she keeps it up with the rudeness and backtalk she'll be getting a sore bottom every time it happens. Follow through until she gets the point.
