Would a back of the neck tattoo and a shoulder tattoo clash to much?

I have an "E" on the back of my neck, and I'm thinking about getting a larger tattoo but don't know where to put it. I was thinking my lower back but I don't want it to be looked at as a "tramp stamp". Especially since it's really meaningful. So maybe the shoulder would be better? But I don't want my "E" and the shoulder tattoo to clash. Help!
