Is it wrong for me to want more?

I was born in Oakland California and was a foster child and with a lot of hard work and effort I got a scholarship to go to a private school called De La Salle and it's been really good to me and it paid for me to go there due to financial Aid but the problem is it revolves around more athletic things, I am decent at athletics but being decent isn't enough at this school since most people come here with years of serious training to get into the Nba, Nfl, etc... and the education is awesome though but I would rather go to College prep school and it also has financial aid and I am pretty sure I am smart enough to get in!
