Money, the root of all evil?

Thinking now, all laws are monetary based and all crimes are in someway connected to money. Also, wars are because of money. If money is such a big problem why are do we still have this illusion that we need money? Why don't people realize that money rather than help people it kills them? Moreover, do you think that money is based on scarcity? If we began to use renewable resource would that lower the necessity for money?
