Im watching amazing race right now and this is bugging me.?

there are these two guys, mel and mike, and im not sure which one he is, i think its the son, he looks VERY familiar. i think he was in a movie and played an actors istant or something? PLEASE HELP ME. i cant figure this out and its driving me insaneee.
