If you are published author, be brutally honest, what do you think of my character?

A good way to create a character's traits is to clearly write out their over all story goal (or series goal). Next give them one big flaw that hinders them from attaining it and one strength that makes them ideal to accomplish it. After that add a few strengths, flaws and mannerisms/quirks to flesh them out but focus on the two main ones in the story and create a story arc where they sharpen their strength and either overcome or are consumed by their biggest flaw (if it will be a series of books make sure they don't sharpen or overcome either too much in the first book, leave some room to expand).
