I've just had an HSG X-ray...need more information abt what happens next...?

hi, you are in exactly the same boat as me, i had one of these done on friday and they hurt like hell dont they! i was told that my tubes werent blocked which is good. i wanted to have on the night as it was my dfay 10 so we want to cover all bases. just make sure that your hubby is really gentle and understands how unconfortable you are. i suggest that he does some DIY stimulation and just before the "end" let him insert. that what we did and it was a bit painful but it was managable. they say that you are more fertile after you have the HSG done because it flushed out your tubes so if you have any build up on any of your tubes the the dye will clean out all the debris. the dye is clear with a sticky texture. i was still loosing it the day after but by sat dinnertime i was fully recovered. fingers crossed you will be ok. i know how you feel!! good luck. x
